Nurit Chinn




Nurit Chinn is a playwright from London. Her plays have been developed or presented at The Bushwick Starr, Alliance Theatre, CUNY Segal Center, Center for New Jewish Culture, and others. She is a 2024/5 New Jewish Culture Fellow and an alum of the Royal Court Theatre’s Writers’ Group. Her plays have been finalists for the Princess Grace Award, the Playwrights Realm Writing Fellowship, the Alliance/Kendeda Award, and shortlisted for the Women’s Prize in Playwriting. Nurit has been commissioned by the Martin E. Segal Theatre Center and Centro Primo Levi, where she was also the Playwright-In-Residence. Nurit is the Co-Director of Exponential Festival 2026. Nurit Chinn is a playwright, curator, and producer from London, now based in Brooklyn. Her work has been developed or presented at Alliance Theatre, BAM Fisher, the Royal Court Theatre, the Center for New Jewish Culture, VAULT festival, Dixon Place, and others. Nurit is a 2025 New Jewish Culture Fellow, a 2025 Alliance/Kendeda Finalist, and the Playwright-in-Residence at Centro Primo Levi. She is currently under commission by Centro Primo Levi and the Martin E. Segal Theatre Center. Nurit is the Co-Director of Exponential Festival 2026.
